Clear data practices for small, focused products.

This notice explains how Moge App Lab, operating as Mogibo (“Mogibo”, “we”, “us”), handles information across mogibo.com and our software products.

1. Scope

This notice covers the Mogibo website, support interactions and product-level services that link to it. A product may include a more specific notice where its data flow differs.

JerseyBatch has a dedicated product privacy notice. LedgerTab is still in development; its product-specific notice will be published before merchant installation.

2. Information we process

Website visits

Our hosting and security providers may process basic technical records such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser type and error information. We currently do not use advertising trackers or sell website visitor profiles.

Messages and support

If you email us, we process the contact details and message content you choose to provide so that we can respond and keep a reasonable support history.

Installed products

A Mogibo app processes only the Shopify or service data needed for its documented function and authorized by the account owner. Exact fields, purposes and retention are described in the applicable product notice.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, secure and troubleshoot the requested service.
  • Authenticate installations and maintain account settings.
  • Answer support, privacy and deletion requests.
  • Measure reliability using limited, content-free operational metrics.
  • Comply with applicable law and platform obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use merchant or customer operational data to build advertising profiles.

4. Sharing and subprocessors

We disclose information only to providers needed to operate the service, when instructed by the account owner, during a lawful business transfer, or when legally required. Current core service categories include:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, delivery and security.
  • Shopify — app distribution, authentication, APIs and billing for Shopify apps.
  • Email providers — messages sent to our published support address.

Providers may process information in countries other than your own. We use contractual and technical protections appropriate to the service and applicable law.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain information only while it serves the described purpose, is needed for security or support, or must be kept by law. Product settings and installation records are deleted or de-identified after uninstall and verified platform redaction requests according to the product notice.

Backups and security logs may remain for a limited period before automatic rotation. We do not intentionally restore deleted account data to active systems.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of personal information, and to object or complain to a regulator. Shopify customers should normally contact the merchant first; the merchant controls the underlying order relationship.

Merchants can uninstall an app through Shopify Admin. For a direct privacy request, email us using the address below. We may ask for limited verification before acting on a request.

7. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, purpose-limited permissions, secret management and data-minimizing product design. No system can promise absolute security, so we also limit what we collect and how long it remains useful.

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@mogibo.com. Please name the relevant product and store, but do not send access tokens, passwords or customer personalization content.
